Des Moines Water Works Park has become a favorite event destination in the metro as the Park has worked with non-profits, festivals, concert promoters, musicians, artists, and so many more as they look for a perfect outdoor space for their next event. Set among the mature trees of Water Works Park, Des Moines Biergarten is a family-friendly popup German-themed beer garden offering steins of beer and German inspired eats. Open Wednesday through Sunday through October beginning at noon, you can find us east of the Lauridsen Amphitheater under the tree canopy in Water Works Park. We’re just off the bike trail and there’s plenty of parking to the south. Restrooms and a natural playscape for kids are also nearby. The Biergarten will close during inclement weather and when the park hosts large concerts. We suggest following the Biergarten on social media for updates.
