Concerts & Ticketing
Do children need tickets?
All concert attendees will need a ticket.
Will tickets be available to purchase locally?
No, tickets will only be available at www.firstfleetconcerts.com.
Will tickets be available day of show?
If the show does not sell out then tickets will be available at www.firstfleetconcerts.com and will be available to purchase with cash or credit at the door.
What does VIP include?
VIP packages are different for every show, check the ticketing link for the specific show to find out what each VIP package includes.
Can minors be in the VIP area?
Yes! There is no age restriction for the VIP section at Water Works Park Amphitheater but everyone will need a VIP ticket to enter.
Are pets allowed into the concert area?
Do VIP purchasers have access to other areas in the venue?
VIP purchasers will have access to all areas of the show area. They are allowed to bring chairs but can only set them up in the GA lawn area.
Can I upgrade to the VIP tickets if I have purchased general admission tickets already?
Yes, you will need to contact boxoffice@woolysdm.com in order to upgrade tickets.
Where are my tickets?
The easiest way to get your tickets is to find your email order confirmation; tickets are usually attached as a PDF file you can print. Can’t find them, having trouble printing, or not sure if you have an Eventbrite account? Just enter your email address at eventbrite.com/gettickets. You can also log into the Eventbrite app or reference the Tickets page within your account. If you think you typo’d your email address, you can check here. If you have any outstanding issues please contact boxoffice@woolysdm.com.
Can I get a refund?
Tickets are non-refundable.

Where is the Lauridsen Amphitheater located? (Map)

Where do I park my bike or car? (Map)
Generally, for events, Parking Areas A, B and or C will be activated for car parking based on conditions and event size. Check parking maps associated with each individual event. There will also be designated Uber, Lyft and Taxi drop-off in the DMWW Administration Building Parking Lot at 2201 George Flagg Parkway and handicap parking are available in the parking lot closest to the venue. Bike valet will also be available for larger events. Look for directional signs as you approach the park.
Is the Amphitheater wheelchair accessible? (Map)
Yes. ADA drop off and Handicap Parking will be available for all events. Paved and gradually slopped paths lead to all designated seating areas. A designated wheelchair seating area along with space for a companion chair (bring your own lawn chair) will be made available at each show.
What can I bring into the venue?
Lawn chairs, blankets, refillable water bottles.
What items are not allowed?
No weapons of any kind. No umbrellas or wagons. You cannot bring food or beverages into the ticketed area for concerts, although you can bring them to the free community events such as the Des Moines Symphony and Belin Quartet performances. Food and beverages will be available for sale.
What if it rains?
In case of severe weather, there will be an alternate location announced.
Are children free?
No, all concert attendees will need a ticket.
Is my ticket in a standing room only section?
VIP is standing room only. Camping chairs are permitted in the “Lawn” area of the amphitheater.
Are food and drinks available for purchase?
Yes.
